Travel Registered Nurse CVOR | Winston-Salem, North Carolina New

A highly skilled RN with CVOR experience is sought for a travel nursing opportunity in Winston-Salem, NC. This role demands proficiency in cardiovascular operating room procedures, including open heart surgeries and advanced cardiac support technologies. Qualifications

• Current RN licensure with cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) experience
• Open heart surgery experience required, including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, aortic dissections, pericardial windows, and chest procedures such as thoracotomies and VATS
• Proficiency with robotic surgery in chest cases preferred
• Experience with advanced cardiac devices: ECMO, LVAD, Impella
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to scrub in surgical cases highly preferred
• Flexibility with scheduling; commitment to punctuality and attendance is mandatory
• Pass/fail EKG exam required by client prior to assignment
• No first-time travel nurses unless possessing open heart or equivalent experience

Responsibilities

• Participate as a skilled RN within the CVOR team during complex cardiac surgeries
• Manage intraoperative patient care including preparation, monitoring, and direct surgical assistance
• Respond promptly to call shifts with a 30-minute response time requirement
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare facility policies and procedures, including pre-assignment exams and certifications
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

• Days: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
